NGK AUTOMOTIVE CERAMICS KOREA CO., LTD. (the "Company") shall protect your personal information and establish and disclose our Privacy Policy, as provided below, in order to rapidly and smoothly address issues in relation to your personal information.

Article 1 (Purpose of Collection, Items to be Collected and Period of Retention and Use of Personal Information)

Until the reservation for accommodation is completed

Purpose of Collection

Receipt and review of application for employment procedures of the Company

Items to be Collected

Name, address, date of birth, sex, telephone number, e-mail address, academic background, information on work experience (place of work, affiliation, position, etc.), information on language-related qualification, military service matters, hobby, information on financial position (annual salary, etc.)

Period of Retention and Use

Until the employment procedures complete

Article 2 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

The Company may provide your personal information, as provided in the following, to third parties with your consent.

Accommodation including hotels in the place of business travel

Name, date of birth, sex, passport number

Purpose of Use of Entity to be Provided

Identification of customers and reservation for accommodation

Article 3 (Entrustment of Personal Information Process)

The Company shall entrust third parties with tasks of personal information process, as provided in the following, in achieving the purpose of collection of personal information, as provided in Article 1. The Company shall take necessary measures for safety of protection of personal information in entrustment of personal information process and, if the a matter on entrustment of personal information process, as provided below, is changed, such matter shall be immediately disclosed via this Privacy Policy.

Article 4 (Rights of Information Subject and Method to Exercise)

You may, at any time, exercise his/her rights to protect personal information, as provided in the following, by contacting oilpark@ngk-korea.co.kr and the Company shall immediately take necessary measures for your request.

  • In the event of inspection or error, etc. of personal information, correction, deletion of personal information, suspension of processing personal information, withdrawal of consent to collection and use of personal information

Article 5 (Destruction of Personal Information)

The Company shall immediately destruct any personal information upon satisfaction of the purposes of collection and use of such personal information and, if the personal information is required to be retained pursuant to relevant laws, destruct after separately retaining for a certain period of time. Personal information printed in writing shall be destructed by grinding or incinerating it and personal information stored in the form of electronic file shall be deleted by using technical methods that restoration of record is not available.

Article 6 (Measures for Securing Safety of Personal Information)

The Company shall take measures in the following, in order to process personal information in a safe manner.

  • Managerial measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plan in relation to personal information process, providing regular education for protection of personal information to formal executives, etc.
  • Technical measures: Process of personal information and management of access, installation of anti-malware protection program, etc.
  • Physical measures: Installation and operation of locking equipment and CCTV for storage place of personal information-related documents, etc.

Article 7 (Department for Protection of Personal Information)

The Company shall designate a specific department, as provided below, responsible for protection of personal information and treatment of related difficulties, in order to receive inquiry and take measures for complaints, in respect to process of personal information.

Article 8 (Amendment of Privacy Policy)

This Privacy Policy shall come into force on December 8, 2020.
