A Piece of Insulator Brought Over from the United States
“We do this to serve our country, and not for our own profit.”
A small piece of insulator brought over from the United States in 1905 motivated our decision to start producing special high-voltage insulators in Japan.
Our resolve that led us to launch domestic production at that time was, as our NGK Group Philosophy put it, “Enriching Human Life by Adding New Value to Society,” and we have never wavered from that.
To create new value for people, for society, and for the earth on the basis of the ceramics technology cultivated through insulators and our philosophy — our technology will live on forever into the future.
