Since 2020, alongside the local community, NGK has actively supported wheelchair tennis with the aim of promoting diversity.
We support wheelchair tennis athletes based in Aichi Prefecture through the provision of funds to assist in their travel both domestically and abroad, and make the Moronoki Tennis Club available for use as a practice ground for wheelchair tennis athletes and aficionados.
Additionally, we support wheelchair tennis as an official partner of the Japan Wheelchair Tennis Association (JWTA).

As a company involved in manufacturing, NGK has provided the "NGK Science Site: Experiments at Home Series" in the science magazine Newton and elsewhere since 1997 to convey the wonders of science to children, the bearers of the next generation.
We exhibit at science events in various regions. Our employee volunteers demonstrate the experiments.
04
NGK has taken part in the TABLE FOR TWO (TFT) program since September 2010. TFT is a volunteer activity to which employees can easily contribute. When an employee eats a healthy meal at a company cafeteria, we contribute the equivalent of one meal (20 yen) to children in Africa. The program is active at all NGK cafeterias (eight cafeterias in four areas).
In addition, NGK Yu-Service, NGK Metex, and NGK Fine Molds in the NGK Group participate in the TABLE FOR TWO program through on-site vending machines.
05
The NGK Group conducts environmental protection activities centered on cleanups and environmental beautification projects at its sites around the world.
For example, NGK Okhotsk participates in the activities of a citizen volunteer organization, which works to protect local skunk cabbage clusters, and helps maintain their habitats.
06
The NGK Group conducts social contribution activities that respond to community needs at its sites around the world.
For example, since 1967, NGK's Komaki Site (Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture) has organized a festival for local residents to express appreciation for their understanding and cooperation.
